 The "Freds" fire incident began on October 14, 2004. The fire is located North of Kyburz and Highway 50 between Wrights Lake road and Ice House road, South of Ice House Reservoir. This is approximately 80 miles East of Sacramento on Highway 50 and 26 miles West of South Lake Tahoe on Highway 50. The fire is south of Ice House Reservoir and east of Ice House road. 7,000+ Acres of National Forest and Private lands were burned. |
