Wildlife - Water Birds of the Sacramento Valley

The Sacramento Valley in California provides a target rich resource for photographers wanting to take pictures of water birds. Waterfowl use the Pacific Flyway when migrating south and many areas of the Sacramento Valley are stopping off places for many water birds. Several species, like the Sandhill Crane winter in the Sacramento Valley.
