Wildlife - Small AnimalsA long telephoto lens for your camera will be useful. Most of these small animals will dart quickly away as soon as you open your car door to get out to take a picture. Most wildlife are accustomed to vehicles driving by. But they go on “full alert” when a vehicle stops. When you stop your vehicle, most wildlife will give you about 4 to 10 seconds to take a picture before they head for cover. Keep your camera ready. Caution: do not stop in the middle of a road to take pictures. If you do, you may find your next photo opportunity to be an auto accident Navigation tips: When you select a thumbnail image below, a larger image will be displayed. Then use the yellow arrows at the top of the large image to move from one image to the next. Press "Index" (above the large image) to return to this page of thumbnail images. |
